Learn about the import regulations and requirements in the EU.
When it comes to the import, export, purchase, and sale of goods, the EU has issued a number of regulations for Vietnam and other countries exporting goods to Europe. as well as requests such as:
EORI numbers are required for all traders and businesses importing any type of goods. In some European countries, the importing company must obtain an EORI number from the local chamber of commerce.
When exporting to the European market, consider the type of goods to see if there are any special regulations under the EU’s import policy.
Technical certificates and consumer health assurance are in high demand in the EU market. Pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, agricultural products, food, and live animals, animal feed, animal products, and other items are commonly exported to Europe.
Exporters will rely on commercial contracts or agreements between the two parties at this stage of preparation, which is typically done through Incoterms.
The responsibility for transportation, insurance, and the point of delivery of the goods will determine liability for the export of goods to Europe.
